Nazi Germany stole $146 million in gold from Holocaust victims and others, according to a preliminary report released by an international commission of historians studying the extent of Switzerland’s financial dealings with the Nazis. The 23-page report also said at least $2.5 million of that gold was taken from inmates at Auschwitz and other concentration camps in Eastern Europe.
