Nazi hunter Elliot Welles died at age 79. He died of a heart attack last week at his home in the Bronx, N.Y. The Vienna-born Welles, a Holocaust survivor, began Nazi hunting in 1979, starting with the SS officer who ordered the murder of his mother.
