The possibility that the constitution of the Reich Labor Front will be liberalized to admit to membership persons of part-Jewish blood was revealed today in an official announcement. Membership in the Labor Front is necessary to be able to work in German enterprises.

While the Labor Front remains closed to Jews, the announcement states that the “Aryan paragraph” of the organization’s constitution, which eliminates all persons of Jewish descent, will be scrapped and supplanted by the Reich citizenship law, which considers certain categories of mixed blood in the “Aryan” classification. It is believed that “half-Jews” and “quarter Jews” will be permitted to join the Labor Front.
