Police yesterday arrested Dr. Paul Zubak and Greta Taumann, both of Vienna, after an all-night search of their home during which police said they found seditious material and letters about the German Jews in Palestine.
The two denied charges of sedition and were still being held today after a hearing. The incriminating documents have been sent to the Criminal Investigation Department at Jerusalem.
Dr. Zubak and Miss Taumann arrived in Palestine in 1933 and first resided in Nazareth, where they are believed to have organized Nazi headquarters for Palestine. Later they moved to this city where Dr. Zubak represented a film company.
