Nazis Execute Aged Czech Jew in Paris for “crimes Against Reich”

The official German news agency, DNB, reported today that a sixty-two-year-old Czech Jew residing in Paris has been executed for “conducting treacherous activities against the greater German Reich and the present order in Bohemia and Moravia.” The dispatch did not specify what “crimes” the victim, Sigmund Israel Amarant, is alleged to have committed.
