Nazis Raid Dutch Farms in Search for Jews Seeking to Escape Deportation

The German radio today reported that police authorities in Nazi-occupied Holland are raiding farms throughout the country in a search for Jews seeking to escape deportation to Eastern territories. One Dutch farmer was arrested in the vicinity of Winschoten for sheltering five such Jews, the broadcast stated. “There is no clemency for such anti-German actions,” the Nazi announcer, said, warning other farmers.
