The news weekly Cavalcade reported today that large-scale anti-Semitic outbursts have been timed to break out in France during the first week of September.
According to the Cavalcade, the man behind the terror being prepared for France is Dr. Wilhelm Karl Kugler, who staged many anti-Jewish outrages in Germany and was responsible for directing the November, 1938, pogroms which followed assassination of a German Embassy official in Paris.
Assisting Kugler, the magazine said, is a big staff of newspaper editors, radio announcers and platform propagandists. The campaign is reportedly reaching a climax now with slogans accusing the Jews of responsibility for the war, hunger, unemployment and absence of money.
