Netherlander Gets Farm in Thanks for Saving Jews from Nazis

A new life on a farm in this country opened up for a Dutch grocer and his family when they landed here yesterday. The grocer, Leendert Hordijk, and his family, received a farm California from Allen H. Rabin, a drug manufacturer, as a “thank you” gesture for their having sheltered at the risk of their own lives, five Jews during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.
