Dr. Emanuel Neumann, president of the Zionist Organization of America, today warned the Israeli people against allowing their resentment over American government policy develop into anti-American sentiment. Such sentiment, he went on, would be “disastrous” and would “play into the hands of the enemy.”
Dr. Neumann, at a luncheon at ZOA House here, which is maintained by the ZOA, described American Jewish and Zionist activities during the four months since the Sinai campaign. Israel’s “everlasting ally,” he stressed. was and remains world Jewry, with American Jewry at the top of the list.
