Clarence Bolds, new American Governor of Bavaria, this week-end promised to continue the policy of cooperation with Jewish leaders established by his predecessor, Murray, Van Wagoner.

Gov. Bolds, formerly a high-ranking member of Mr. Van Wagoner’s staff, gave this pledge on the occasion of his introduction by Mr. Van Wagoner to Chief Rabbi of this city, Dr. Aaron Ohrenstein, and Jewish community president Dr. Julius Spanier. Dr. Ohrenstein pledged the loyalty of Bavarian Jews to the American occupation authorities and expressed to the outgoing governor the gratitude of the Jews for his understanding of their problems.
