New Confiscation of Property Announced in Cairo; Many Jews Affected

The Egyptian Government has carried through its anticipated sequestration of the property of another 255 wealthy individuals, it was reported here today from Cairo. There are numerous Jewish names on the published list.

A British Embassy official said a preliminary study of the list showed about a dozen British subjects among those affected. The action brought to 422 the number of persons whose property has been confiscated in the past ten days.
