New Counsellor Plans Extensive Program for Columbia Students

Important phases of Jewish culture and philosophy will be delineated for Jewish students at Columbia University this semester by Jewish religious and cultural leaders on the invitation of Rabbi Isidor B. Hoffman, counsellor to Jewish students.

Rabbi Hoffman, who for the last five years has been engaged in work among Jewish students at Cornell where he was director of the Hillel Foundation, succeeds Rabbi Baruch Braunstein as Jewish counsellor.

REGISTRATION TUESDAY FOR MT. SINAI CLASSES

Congregation Mount Sinai, of 305 State street, Brooklyn, will hold registration for its evening classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, October 2, 3, and 4, from 7 to 10 o’clock at the synagogue.

Classes in Hebrew, Bible, Jewish History, Religion, Jewish Songs and Melodies will be given.
