The great need for unity in Jewish life was stressed here last night by Rabbi Samson Shain in an address commemorating the twenty-sixth year of the activity of Young Judea in New England at Havath Achim Synagogue.
“Although the Jew has been forced to wander throughout the centuries from country to country as a result of persecution, the Jewish people have never been able to set up a central agency to combat anti-Semitism,” Rabbi Shain said. “Such a central agency for world Jewry is essential today. Unity is the crying need of our people.”
