New England Zionists Back Goldstein for Z.O.A. President

The 18th annual New England Zionist Region, in convention assembled yesterday at the Hotel Statler, endorsed Dr. Israel Goldstein for national president of the Z.O.A. Following the resolution, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise was lauded for his services during the past two years. A resolution supporting Dr. Chaim Weizmann and the Executive in their endeavors to obtain maximum terms for the proposed Jewish State in Palestine, was adopted after heated debate. Ralph F. Bass, of Boston, was re-elected president for a second term.
