A temporary New Jersey Commission on Immigration Legislation has been formed here to work for the implementation of recommendations of President Truman’s Commission on Immigration and Naturalization. The Commission suggested a complete revision of the McCarran Immigration Law. The body was formed by representatives of the State C.I.O., Jewish Community Council, American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith and civic and church groups. A meeting of state-wide organizations will be held in the near future.
