New-medical Methods Discussed by American Scientists in Israel

The latest methods of treatment of various diseases as well as the newest inventions in the field of medicine are being discussed here at a two-day symposium on basic medical research arranged by the Hebrew University-Hadassah medical school.

Participating in the symposium are medical experts from the United States, including Prof. Israel Wechsler, Prof. David Nachmanson, Prof. Heinrich Wallasch and Prof. David Rittenberg of Columbia University; Prof. Louis Fieser of Harvard University; Prof. Severo Ochoa of New York University and others. Among the participants is Dr. Ernst Chain. Nobel Prize winner for the co-discovery and development of penicillin.
