Individual settling on the land in Russia will be discontinued, according to an order from the Land Commissariat requesting definitely that from now on the collective form exclusively be applied when settling newcomers on the soil. While the order puts an end to the present system of Jewish colonization which has been conducted on an individual basis, the Jewish organizations concerned are not surprised for they expected such an order and have plans on hand now as to how best to settle the Jews in the future on the land and collectivizing them from the first day of settling.

The entire Yevpatorian region has been proclaimed by the government as the first region in Crimea to be entirely collectivized without a single individual farm remaining. It is learned that the Crimean government is asking the Central government to apply the Yevpatorian order to the entire Crimean Republic.
