Formation of the Central Committee for Chilean Jews, comprising the major Jewish organizations in Chile, was announced here. The committee will be the representative body of Chilean Jewry. Its officers include: Victor Corry, head of the Sephardic community in Chile, president; Gil Sinay, president of the HIAS-ICA Emigration Association and the Jewish Center in Chile, vice president; Jose Levy of the German Jewish community and Samuel Goren of the Chilean Zionist Federation, co-chairman.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
