The New York Chapter of Hadassah opened its campaign for $50,000 for medical work in Palestine at a tea at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel yesterday afternoon. Dr. Stephen S. Wise spoke on “A Light in Darkness—Palestine and Germany.” Mrs. Herbert H. Lehman is honorary chairman of the Hadassah campaign and Mrs. Samuel Goldstein presided at the meeting.
