The 43rd annual campaign of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York was opened at the Hotel Plaza tonight with a goal of $21,250,000 for its 116 affiliated agencies. Mayor Robert F. Wagner was the principal speaker. More than $3,450,000 in contribution was announced at the inaugural dinner for the campaign.
