The third annual Maccabean Festival will take place on Saturday evening, December 24th, at Madison Square Garden, according to an announcement made by Morris Margulies, Secretary of the Administrative Committee of the Zionist Organization of America.
The Maccabean Festival, as in previous years, will be sponsored by the New York Zionist Region in association with all Zionist districts of Greater New York and other Zionist groups. Carl Sherman, President of the New York Zionist Region, has reported that plans are now being formulated to make this year’s Maccabean Festival the most impressive of the series. A distinguished national figure will be present for the occasion to deliver the address. In addition, the program of entertainment will include some of the foremost names on stage, screen and in the radio world.
