The City of New York will observe tomorrow the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the ORT with a special ceremony at Times Square during which that famous section of the city will, for several hours, be renamed “ORT Square,” by inserting a street sign to this effect.

Mayor Wagner of New York yesterday issued a proclamation designating March 9 as “ORT Day.” The proclamation was presented by the Mayor to Mrs. Ludwig Kaphan, president of the Women’s ORT, at the City Hall.
