New York State Senate Passes Bill to Ban Discrimination in State-aided Housing

The Wicks-Austin Bill forbidding racial and religious discrimination in publicly-aided private housing projects built after July 1,1950, was passed unanimously here yesterday by the New York State Senate and sent to the Assembly, where passage is expected.
