New York’s transit workers union hired an Israeli security expert because, it said, the Metropolitan Transit Authority wasn’t doing enough to prevent terrorist attacks. Local 100 of the Transport Workers Union hired Rafi Ron, CEO of New Age Security Solutions and a former security chief at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, to run eight-hour seminars starting this Sunday.
