Work will start this week on remodeling the three upper floors of the four-story building at 16-18 South Clark street into elaborate air-conditioned quarters for the Chicago Loop Orthodox synagogue at an estimated expenditure of $50,000. The temple has 1,000 members and is composed largely of young business and professional men in the loop.
