$50,000 drive to build the Chicago Loop Synagogue has been launched here. Mayor Edward J. Kelly formally opened the campaign by purchasing twenty-five tickets for the bazaar which is to be held at the Morrison Hotel January 19-27.

The full slate of officers of the Jewish People’s Institute here was reelected at the annual meeting. Joseph Michaels is president. Three newcomers to the board of directors were named: Laurence Greenebaum, Joseph M. Kraus and David Mayer. Dr. Philip L. Seman is general director.
