Enrico Glichenstein, Italian Jewish sculptor, was awarded the Order of the Crown of Italy by the Italian Consul at a meeting of the men’s club of Sinai Temple last night.
The inauguration of Ralph A. Habas as assistant rabbi of Temple Sholom will take place Friday night, January 18. He comes from Princeton University.
Funeral services were held for Mr. Mae E. Loeb, widow of Sidney Loeb, wealthy mortgage and real estate dealer. Interment was at Rosehill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hilda Rolnick, wife of David Rolnick, retired real estate dealer, passed away following a heart attack in the American Hospital. She was buried in the Jewish Waldheim Cemetery.
