Nine Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip. The strike was aimed at a vehicle driven by Islamic Jihad activists said to be en route to firing rockets at Israel. Seven of those killed Tuesday were civilians and two were Islamic Jihad members, Ha’aretz reported.
