Nathan Straus Jr., state director of the National Emergency Council, will discuss the work of the NEC at a luncheon meeting Wednesday in the Hotel Statler. Mr. Straus is in full charge of code authorities and NRA compliance in this state.
He will explain the entire operation of NEC, the necessity for cooperation and the penalties attached in cases of violation and non-compliance. His visit is in an official capacity and will include inspection of local conditions. Wednesday afternoon will be devoted to conferences.
