No American Troops Will Be Sent to Palestine, President Truman Declares

President Truman stated at his weekly press conference today that American troops would not be sent to Palestine as a result of the present situation. The President said that the United Nations, in the long run, would have an International police force but not necessarily intended for Palestine.
