A refusal by the Governor of the Posen Province to confirm the sale of a house in the City of Posen owned by a German resident to a Jewish woman named Miriam Rosenrot, who is a Polish citizen, has been upheld now by the Supreme Administrative Tribunal.
The refusal is based on an ordinance issued in 1921, which makes the sale of immovable property in the Province of Posen subject to the approval of the administrative authority of the Province. The Governor of Posen refused to approve the sale of the house to Miriam Rosenrot on the ground that there was not sufficient guarantee that she is loyal to the polish State.
