Ohio Governor Attacks Bible Reading Bill

Governor Donabey of Ohio, criticized Republicans in the state legislature who agreed to vote for the bill to compel reading of the Bible in public schools as a means of gaining Ku Klux Klau support.

“Child of a shameless barter and subterfuge used for trading purposes,” was his characteriration of the bill during a speech here.
