More than half of Long Island’s quota of $20,000 for the Palestine Foundation Fund was raised at the dinner opening the campaign last night at the Hotel Traymore at Rockaway. The dinner was given in honor of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, who was welcomed by Dr. Herman Salit, rabbi of the Temple Sharre Teflia of Far Rockaway.
