One in every six women in Israel has been sexually harassed on the street, according to the an official who deals with the status of women in Israeli society. Ronit Lev-Ari told Israel Radio on Wednesday that the harassment includes attempts to touch women, obscene proposals, prolonged staring, and efforts by men to press their bodies against women.
