One of Syria’s official newspapers warned Israeli Prime Minister-Ehud Barak that including the Likud Party in his governing coalition would be “disastrous” for peace with the Arab world. Just the same, the English-language Syria Times added that the forming of the coalition is an internal Israeli affair.
