One of the Czech Republic’s two commercial television stations reported that a local businessman is exploiting Holocaust survivors and their heirs. The TV Prima report said Jaromir Kral offers to help clients obtain money owed them by Israeli banks in return for a 20 percent cut. However, the accounts, which belonged to people who died in the Holocaust, are listed on the Israeli Parliament’s Web site, and the Israeli government will return the money at no cost to recipients, according to a law that should be passed by the end of this year, Prima reported. Kral could not be reached for comment.
