With no Jewish delegate attending, the German-American Conference voted “unanimously” to protest the American boycott of Nazi Germany and to support the Steuben Society’s projected Madison Square Garden German Day celebration for Decemner 6.
A “Year of Progress” celebration will mark the observance of the first anniversary of San Francisco’s Jewish Community Center during the week beginning November 7. An elaborate program of arts, dramatics, dances and sports will feature the events of the week.
