The executive council of the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations, at its current session here, endorsed yesterday President Eisenhower’s Middle East Doctrine.
The AFL-CIO, however, noted that the Administration’s military-economic proposals aimed at counteracting Soviet penetration of the Middle East would not suffice to guarantee a stable peace. It asked the United States to take action to end colonialism and to take a number of other measures
