Ormsby Gore, Colonial Under-secretary, Advises Patience in Palestine

“The situation in Palestine is satisfactory one. However, the Jews must be ##, because the work cannot be hastened,” declared Major Ormsby Gore, newly appointed undersecretary in the British Colonial Office, during his visit to Rhodesia, South Africa.

“The second generation of Palestinian Jews will good colonists,” he stated.
