Ormsby-gore Succeeds Father As Peer; Expected to Resign As Colonial Secretary

William G.A. Ormsby-Gore, Colonial Secretary, succeeds to the peerage held by his father, Lord Harlech, who died yesterday. His resignation from the Cabinet is deemed likely. As Colonial Secretary, he administers the Palestine mandate.
