All national religious groups in the United States, at a meeting of their representatives here, today decided to form a joint committee under the name United Organization for Religious Israel. The new group will consist of the presidents of the Mizrachi Organization of America, Agudas Israel of America, Mizrachi Laborite Organization of America, Union of Orthodox Rabbis, Young Israel, and of representatives of the Association of Orthodox Rabbis and of the Rabbinical Council of America. The committee will develop activities aiming at strengthening religious institutions and religious life in Israel.
