Orthodox Rabbi Recites Invocation in House of Representatives for First Time

Rabbi Nachum David Herman, of Congregation Tifereth Israel of Brooklyn, today pronounced the invocation at the opening of the House of Representatives session, marking the first time in the history of Congress that the invocation was recited by an Orthodox rabbi.
