The anti-Semitic riots which took place last night in Berlin were condemned unanimously in today’s London press.
“The delegation of the British war veterans, which is paying a friendly visit to Germany, will now have a chance to learn the truth about Germany,” the Evening Star said in an editorial.
Under the title “The Nazi Jekyll-Hyde,” the Star editorial contrasted the riots with the friendly words of Nazi leaders to the visiting British war veterans.
