A total of $515,000 dollars has been raised in Canada for the current United Palestine Appeal, it was announced here today by Rabbi Jesse Schwartz, national executive director of the Zionist Organization of Canada, This marks an increase of more than $225,000 over the amount raised by the Canadian UPA last year. The UPA here operates independently of other Jewish welfare drives.
