The Ozet, society for the settlement of Jews on the land, is now doing seventeen per cent of the operative work in the colonies, besides the work in Bira-Bidjan, according to a report presented by Mr. Dimantstein at the first White Russian Ozet Conference held in Minsk. The total sum spent on the Ozet work up to the present is 5,000,000 roubles.
