An elderly Jewess and two young women disguised as Arab peasant women, were arrested here by police as they attempted to enter Palestine illegally. They had come overland from Damascus.

Previously a party of five, attired in the traditional costumes of cultured Moslem women, including the black veils, were apprehended when police saw through their disguises. They could not answer questions put to them in Arabic.
