Sir Wynham Deedes, Civil Secretary of Palestine, has tendered his resignation and is leaving Palestine April 1. Before departing, Sir Wyndham visited the “Vaad Leumi” or Jewish National Council and pledged his help in the future, as in the past, for the Jewish national homeland plan. He has also taken leave of the Arab leaders. Sir Syndham came to Palestine shortly after the assumption of office by Sir Herbert Samuel, filling a post equivalent to that of Minister of Interior in any other country.
