A warning that unless measure are taken for Jewish-Arab cooperation soon, future cooperation will be impossible is contained in an article by Moshe Smilansky, president of the Jewish Farmers Association, in Boustenai, the association’s organ.
Citing the growing nationalist tendcy the worldover, Mr. Smilansky declares that the merest spark could explode the enmity between the Jews and the Arabs, unless steps are taken to assure peaceful collaboration in a land which, he says, belongs to both peoples.
To this end, he suggests that the consciousness of common ties between Jew and Arab be developed in the younger generation.
