Acting Palestine High Commissioner Henry L. Gurney today invited Jemal Husseini, leader of the Palestine Arab Higher Committee, to meet with him. It is understood that in the 90-minute parley the two discussed conditions under which Palestine Arabs would be willing to attend the London conference on Palestine.

King Abdullah of Transjordan sailed today from Haifa for Turkey, accompanied by his son and a number of high government and military leaders. Before sailing he was received by the British district commissioner and reviewed detachments of the Arab Legion and British infantry.
