According to Doar Hayom, William Joseph Johnson, treasurer of the Palestine Government, who is now on leave in England, has submitted his resignation and will not return to this country. The paper gives as the reason for Mr. Johnson’s resignation official disapproval of his scheme for an income tax in Palestine.
